Today we depart Paris.
We’ll ride off to collect our campervan. Spend some time learning about it. Then drive back through the centre of Paris to collect the rest of our gear.
Then it is off to Normandy. Rel would like to detour via Belgium, but we’ll see how we go for time.
John is losing faith in technology. The internet connect at the hotel has become a little flaky in the last couple of days.
None of the photos I included in yesterday’s blog would load up, which explains the lack of context around some statements.
I can’t send emails, but I can receive them.
And the internet connection from my phone doesn’t work.
Looks like I will have to focus on having a good time. Rel will appreciate that.
The GPS unit sometimes struggles to find satellites. Actually it does find them, but I’m nearly at the destination by the time it comes to life.
I may have some fun finding the campervan rental place if that doesn’t work. :-)
And I have no idea when we’ll find an internet connection again.
So there probably won’t be a blog for a few days, or longer, I expect.
Today looks like it will be a beautiful and gorgeous day.
Min of 9 up to a max of 23. Doesn’t sound that different from Brisbane’s forecast.
Time to get ready to battle Paris traffic on the bicycle again.
