We dropped into a little town for some lunch.
The girls couldn’t resist the shops of course.
Found a cool diner

And checked out the menu
There were some interesting options on the menu

Ange was impressed with her drink

Johnny and Rel are so much in love…
Rel loved her classic American Hamburger

John is pretty sure his lunch was under the mash and the gravy somewhere
After we lunch we took in some amazing scenery
John forgot what he had learnt from his days when modelling, and stood like a stunned mullet
But then he remembered how to pose with class and style
The scenery just kept rolling by

It was time to go through a checkpoint.
You can sense Jen’s anticipation (check the mirror) at seeing a hot ranger in his uniform at the checkpoint gate

So there was some disappointment when the window opened, and it was not Ranger Steve, but Ranger Stephanie.

There was natural beauty everywhere to be seen
There was plenty of fresh water

Fresh food was plentiful

And Johnny found an alternative if we ever ran out of toilet paper

One had to watch out for the paparazzi even in remote places

The scenery just continued to stun and amaze
Who knew that bears had to be told to not run so fast
Since we were now in Bear country, John decided to make everyone safe and ’mark’ his own territory - a guy thing
Time for a modelling shoot with a couple of supermodels.
Johnny picked a bad time to lose his balance

The tunnels were always fun
We took in a waterfall just before we reached our campsite

Took the required photos

We were always on the lookout for wildlife. Thought we had spotted our first bear in the grass, but maybe we got that wrong.
A great drive with more amazing adventures and scenery.
We were now ready to settle into our campsite.
