The hotel was fine, and we needed the alarm to wake us up. We had crashed. The sleeping tablets had helped John sleep, but he was in another planet that next morning.
We charged off to the airport, wondering how easy it would be to find the arranged meeting spot.
Jumped off the shuttle bus, found the escalator to the meeting point. On the way down the escalator, we spotted Jen, like an oasis in a desert of people we did not know.
Too easy - love it when a plan comes together.
Ange turned up shortly thereafter.
We rented the car, sped back to our hotel for a shower and change for Ange and Jen.
Later that morning John asked if we had signed for the car. Turns out he has a bit more of a space cadet than first thought.
But the girls treated him nicely as they knew he was on a planet far far away.
Even when he spilt his coffee all over the car, there were laughs not remonstrations.
Then Rel took the wheel (the left hand one of course) as we zoomed off for Vegas.
We hit an outlet shopping mall.
John had recovered from the sleeping pills by this stage, and had a blast, mainly because he found all this stuff he wanted.
Not all things he like could be taken home
Ange and Jen on the other hand were starting to fade after only just jump off a 13 hour flight..
It was aninteresting combination when Jen started to fade and John was still on another planet
We took some of the interesting sites in our stride

Do you want fries with that?

But the time we spotted all the buildings that indicated we had arrived at the den of inequity, we were ready to stop driving.
